The following convention and meeting services are provided by the Washington
County Maryland CVB and are free of charge.
Registration Assistance
Members of the CVB staff are available to help at the registration
desk supplying visitor information or assisting with registration.
Housing
The CVB will assist with coordinating housing by setting
up room blocks for city-wide conventions or events.
Transportation
The CVB will refer your organization to companies providing
shuttle service in the area.
Public Relations/PubIicity
The CVB is able to assist with press releases, publicity
and media contacts for groups meeting in Washington County. Senior
staff members are also available to welcome groups during opening sessions.
Site Inspections
The CVB Sales Department is available to arrange site inspections
and accompany association representatives on tours of area meeting
and lodging facilities, restaurants and local attractions prior to
an organization's planning a meeting in Washington County.
Hospitality Packets
The CVB offers information for registration packets that
include a hospitality bag, the CVB Official Visitor Guide, a calendar
of local events, coupon book and any other requested brochures.
Name Badges
The CVB will provide and print name badges, upon request.
Banners
The CVB will supply a welcome banner to display at the meeting
site.
Entertainment
The CVB will assist with arrangements for groups to visit
area attractions. We will also provide a list of entertainers and speakers,
if requested.
Video
The CVB will provide a video highlighting Washington County,
upon request.
